Classical Indian structures return with prominence in epic and historical work. Personal productions (99 Songs), prestige collaborations (Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan), and concept-first historical work receive extended development alongside standard commercial scoring. The transition from Era 5 shows increasing investment in prestige projects rather than reduced volume.
